Toyota Canada Receives Six 2023 Canadian Black Book Best Retained Value Awards

Toyota Canada has been recognized by Canadian Black Book (CBB) with six Best Retained Value Awards for 2023.

This comes following the CBB’s recognition of Toyota with six ‘Best Residual Value’ awards for 2023. Toyota posted six wins including the Overall Brand Award in the Car category, and the Overall Brand Award in the SUV/Truck category for the seventh consecutive year.

Canadian Black Book’s Best Retained Value Awards recognize vehicles that retain the highest percentage of their original manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) after four years. For 2022, the CBB program analyzed model year 2019 vehicles in 15 different categories, plus five Overall Brand categories.

“We’re honoured to be recognized by Canadian Black Book and proud of the diverse range of our vehicles,” says Cyril Dimitris, VP, Marketing, Toyota Canada Inc. “We’re grateful for the ongoing trust and loyalty of our customers, and we are committed to providing quality vehicles to meet the needs of every Canadian.”

Toyota was recognized with the following awards:

  • Overall Brand Award: SUV/Truck – Toyota Canada
  • Car: Main – Toyota Yaris
  • Small Pickup – Toyota Tacoma
  • Full-size Pickup – Toyota Tundra
  • SUV: Main Compact – Toyota RAV4
  • SUV: Main Mid/Full – Toyota Highlander
